We are in the midst of potty training Ethan and let me tell you, I have never felt so frustrated before. With the girls, it was relatively easy. They were all 2 1/2 and took a week or less...so easy!! Kodie came home from the hospital and a week later Emilie was more than ready to be a big girl and not a baby anymore.
I have always heard from others that boys are more difficult. Ethan is 4 years old and it's been challenging. His teacher at school requested that we send him in underwear a few weeks ago so we've been doing that and then let him wear them the rest of the day. He is good about not having accidents until it's going number two...that's been the tricky part of all of this journey with him.
Today though, I felt so proud when he said he needed to go potty and headed to the bathroom. He did it!! Went to the bathroom and managed to not have an accident. It is such a huge step for him and gives me renewed hope that he is getting the idea :)
